Experience in special district management, public finance, real estate, lending and residential development — focused on one thing: well-run districts.
Metro districts shape everyday life in Colorado's newer communities. They build the roads, parks and trails, and they fund them for years afterward. Yet the people closest to them, the volunteer board members and the homeowners who pay district taxes, often feel furthest from what's going on. Boards wait days for answers. Financial reports are hard to follow. Homeowners reach closing without understanding the district line on their tax bill.
We started Metro District Management to close that gap. Our team brings together the experience a district needs: years of special district finance and administration, more than two decades of building homes, and a real estate background that sees district decisions the way homeowners do. We're a small Colorado team by choice, so every board works with people who know their district by name, answer the phone and show up prepared.
Our goal is simple: well-run districts, clear information and communities that people are proud to call home.
Clear numbers, posted documents and straight answers — for boards and residents alike.
We answer calls and emails promptly and keep the board updated on how issues are resolved.
We treat district money and public assets with the care they deserve.
We live and work in Colorado and know its districts, counties and communities.
Judy has spent 14 years managing Colorado special districts. Before that, she was a finance manager at a Fortune 500 company. She holds a BS and an MS in finance and leads our budgeting, auditing and project management work.
Sarah is the link between the district and the people who live in it. Her background in real estate and lending, including building and running her own brokerage firm, Aspen Home Realty, means she understands the questions homeowners bring, from district fees at closing to what their taxes pay for. She has managed the accounting and bookkeeping for her own businesses and brings that same care to district billing and communications.
Doug has more than 20 years in residential development as owner of Olson Homes, LLC, with 120+ renovations and new custom builds. He oversees contractors, capital projects, maintenance and property operations.
Ava keeps every district organized. She manages client communications, scheduling, document management and QuickBooks bookkeeping, and is often the first friendly voice residents and board members reach.
